Tessenberg Mountain Retreat

This is a paradise for the nature's lovers, the village is still living by the traditional rhythms
, still it is near all the necessary facilities: skying areas, mountain
bike and trail tracks that can take you in uncontaminated places for hours.
For the ancient times lovers it is possible to visit the recently refurbished Heinfels Castle, the Unesco Drei Zinnen Area that includes majestic peaks (over 2500 mt high).
Cortina d'Ampezzo, Dobbiaco, San Candido and Lienz are all within easy reach by car for a one day shopping spree or the most sophisticated palate (many outstanding restaurant there), but if you would just like to forget about driving you can start from the house and be in the woods in minutes.
Also near (5 km) a renowned paragliding school, biathlon centre, plus all the ski disciplines including many alpin ski routes.

I decided to buy this ancient "Maso" (as called in South Tirol) almost on the spot, moved here and changed my life! I totally remade the roof and main structure, renewed the inside with love, trying to maintain the welcoming feeling of tradition that was the first thing that captured me. I never regretted one day even if it was not an easy task.
