Garlic soup with cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

½ onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour smooth
4-5 cloves garlic, pressed
¾ l clear beef or vegetable soup
½ l whipped cream
salt, pepper, organic soup powder, nutmeg
2-3 tbsp. starch flour
Some cold water
½ l whipped cream


Croutons:
3 cloves garlic, pressed
20 g butter
50 g white bread cubes without crust

Preparation

Roast onion in butter, dust with flour and fry until golden. Add garlic, pour hot soup and whipped cream, mix well and cook for 10-15 minutes. Add the remaining spices. Stir the starch flour in a little cold water until smooth, stir into the soup and cook on a low heat for another 15 minutes. Strain soup, season to taste and add whipped cream. Croutons: Foam garlic in butter, toast white bread cubes in it until golden brown. Serve
croutons on top of the soup.
