Getting around in Osttirol

Give your car a few days off. Many of the attractions and destinations here are accessible on foot or by bike. An extensive network of bus services provides you with local transport options – in addition to the scheduled services there are also dial-a-ride taxi services and seasonal buses for hikers and skiers.

The guest card, which holidaymakers receive from their accommodation provider on arrival, includes free use of all public bus services in Osttirol. You can even use it on your journey to get here. For more information about this fantastic offer, please see the section on the free use of public transport.

The Osttirol's Glockner-Dolomiten Card gives you access to seven cable cars, five swimming pools and thirteen different natural and cultural attractions for three or seven days at an attractive price.

Once you’re here, should you find that you do require your own motorised transport after all, you can always rent a car or a motorbike locally, or use the car sharing service.
