Hohe Tauern National Park lights up in the evening sunshine, while the sun sinks behind the deep snow-covered summits in Iseltal. The yellow, orange hues of the sunset immerse the unique panorama of the Schober group and the Lienz Dolomites in a magical atmosphere. Before the bright starry sky emerges, a ranger tells you exciting stories about the survival strategies that chamois, foxes and snow hares use to survive the snowy depths of winter. Discover the animal tracks together and find out which Alpine inhabitant they belong to.
Ascend in a mono-cable gondola and in a chairlift to the "Steinermandl". Afterwards enjoy a sunset hike in snow-shoes, accompanied by a National Park ranger, heading along the mountain ridge to the "Naturfreundehütte".
After a leisurely refreshment stop, head down to the "Faschingalm" car park (taxi collection).
