Gaimberg stretches north of Lienz to Zettersfeld and is due to the proximity to the city and the fantastic view onto the Lienz Dolomites a popular residential and holiday village. Especially the sun paths, which run along the three villages, are unmatched. They pass across well-cultivated fields, through fragrant forests and by fascinating natural gems. Just few meters higher, the skiing and hiking area of Zettersfeld makes a perfect starting point for beautiful mountain and hiking tours. Even in winter, the "sun terrace" is not far away - the valley station of the Zettersfeld gondola cableway is located in Gaimberger and is thus quickly and easily accessible.
