When you ascend with the mountain railway in Kals am Großglockner, a unique mountain panorama spreads out before you at the Adler Lounge at 2,421m. The view of over sixty 3,000-metre peaks will captivate you.
The circular hike begins here and leads down to the left to the picturesque Goldriedsee lake.
Species-rich mountain meadows and Tyrolean grey cattle welcome you after a few minutes' walk on the "Landn", the highest point of the Kerschbaumer Alm. The hike leads from the Goldried mountain inn along the wide gravel path upwards towards the Kals-Matreier Törl. With a bit of luck, you will spot marmots, chamois and golden eagles here.
On the wide Europa Panorama Trail you hike without much effort at the same altitude via the Goldriedalm to the Kals-Matreier Törl. At the Törl, you can see the striking mountains Glödis, Böses Weibele, Hochschober and also Kals am Großglockner.
After the Kals-Matreier-Törl-Haus, you take a beautiful trail to the starting point of the hike. You can return to the valley by cable car or on foot.
