From a challenging toboggan route through to a family-friendly, somewhat leisurely toboggan outing – it’s all available here!
We have something extra special for our Osttirol friends, fans, and guests: the memory-function on our website.
Tobogganing has recently experienced a Renaissance, which you wouldn’t have thought possible. Maybe it is in the simple fact that almost everyone links tobogganing with childhood memories. Do a self-test – are your memories of tobogganing linked with family, excursions together and any amount of fun? You can refresh these memories in East Tyrol and add new ones. It will be difficult for you and your children to stop waxing lyrical when you get into a toboggan in East Tyrol for the first time. The conditions are, we have to brag, dreamy. A full 35, in part floodlit, toboggan runs ensure that East Tyrol can call itself a skiing, tour skiing- and last but not least, a tobogganing paradise.
So where to with your toboggan? One optionmight be Kals am Großglockner (Moaralm), Hochpustertal (Leckfeldalm), Defereggental (Alpe Stalle-Hütte) or Virgental (Würfele Hütte). Fun spanning the generations for all and sundry is part and parcel of it all. The natural toboggan run on Lienz‘s Schlossberg is just one of many other tips which you ought to try out. Does all that sound really tempting? But you haven’t given any thought to stopping for some refreshments afterwards. Well, the managed alpine inns serve specialities like Tyrolean dumplings, ‘Schlipfkrapfen’ ravioli, cheese dumplings and ‘Kaiserschmarrn’ pancakes. Only after this is your tobogganing experience complete…
