We have something extra special for our Osttirol friends, fans, and guests: the memory-function on our website.
The slope is 8 km from Lienz at the Dolomites golf area. It has artificial snow-making facilities, which means it can be used even when the weather conditions are not favourable. The route proceeds from the clubhouse, flat initially, to Lavant town centre, proceeding up a moderately difficult climb. A short descent runs parallel and the circuit ends at the golf clubhouse again.
The sunny slope proceeds above the country road in Lengberg and is at the foot of the recently refurbished Lengberg Castle. The easy slope area which has plenty of clear loops, is long and drawn-out and with two short, steeper ascents and moderately difficult descents the terrain is fantastic and offers plenty of variety. The slope is not just an entertaining and real joy for expert cross-country skiers, it is also an excellent training route for everyone!
The Dolomiten slope proceeds at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites along the Drau cycle trail to Nikolsdorf and is the venue for the Dolomitenlauf which counts towards the Worldloppet series.
Nikolsdorfer train station and back again to Lienz. Due to the flat terrain and superb backdrop, the slope is particularly suitable for leisure-oriented slope hikers, but the full route requires a good level of fitness.
"Relaxing-recreative and at the same time stimulating-sporty" is how you can describe cross-country skiing in Nikolsdorf. Wide fields with idyllic mildew, forest passages, easy sustained and shorter steep ascents and descents make cross-country skiing a real pleasure. Starting points are located with signs in Lengberg immediately after the crossroad "Schlosskreuzung", as well as in Nikolsdorf at the sports field with enough parking possibilities.
You will find the best conditions for endurance training at the Pustertal slope to Lienz. Since there are not many metres altitude to cover it is also particularly suitable for anyone who prefers to glide in leisurely fashion across the slopes.
Start is in Sillian, descending slightly to Lienz. You can of course follow the slope from Lienz to Sillian, however this variant challenges your fitness. After the start in Lienz the slope proceeds mostly along the Drau climbing steadily to the main town in Hochpustertal, Sillian.
