Right on the Defereggental Landesstraße at the entrance to the town of Hopfgarten, a spectacular viewing platform is being planned for the Kulturhaus. It will provide panoramic views to the many measures taken for wild river and avalanche barriers, which protect the inhabitants of the valley from natural hazards such as floods, mudslides, rock fall and avalanche.
