Robber & sorcerer - The trial against Clement Perger from Windisch Matrei

Salzburg in January 1679: Clement Perger, a native of Matrei in Osttirol, is led to execution. Originally arrested for magical practices in mining, he had confessed to theft, robbery and witchcraft in the court hearings. In the course of this, he also became a denouncer of Magdalena and Emerenzia Pichler. The lecture will tell the story of Clement Perger and his fate.
