On the occasion of International Museum Day, museums and cultural institutions in Osttirol are asking how they can make a responsible contribution to societal development in a time that is socially, technologically, and ecologically dynamic.

Eight decades after the end of World War II, East Tyrolean cultural creators remind us that peace is a treasure and not a given right. A treasure to which each individual can and should contribute. Step by step. With openness as an inner attitude. Curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking as building blocks of a society that inspires courage in dynamic times – this is what the cultural institutions of the region aim to be pioneers and catalysts for.
