The year 2025 is all about the 200th birthday of Johann Strauss Sohn, the ‘Waltz King’. The Lienz Symphony Orchestra would therefore like to start the year by honouring the jubilarian with selected works from his extensive oeuvre. The audience can expect lively melodies by Johann and Josef Strauss as well as compositions by Benjamin Britten, Giuseppe Verdi and Carl Michael Ziehrer.
