Experience the impressive tradition of the Heart of Jesus Mountain Fires! After nightfall, imposing fires illuminate the mountain peaks. This tradition dates back to 1796, when Tyrol was dedicated to the "Most Sacred Heart of Jesus" during a time of crisis. The glowing fires in the shape of crosses, hearts, or other Christian symbols represent faith, protection, and connection to home. The Obertilliach Music Band will play an atmospheric concert and provide musical accompaniment.
