Leah and Paul are celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary and enjoying their well-rehearsed daily married life. Yet, despite all, they do not realize that their marriage is “apparently” missing something, namely fire and a sense of adventure. Their relationship starts to shift when Leah's best friend Katja and Paul's buddy Dieter unexpectedly show up. Both are convinced singles and leave nothing to chance. They introduce the idea of an affair as a potential solution to save the staid and rusty couple's marriage. Leah and Paul wonder, prompted by their advice, if they have missed something or if the passion in their marriage has faded. Eventually, they make an unusual decision. Each is allowed to have a planned affair within two weeks to save their “apparently” failing marriage. Whether tennis instructor Laszlo or hairdresser Sandy are truly the right partners for their cheating adventure remains to be seen. Instead of erotic fulfillment, turbulence and misunderstandings follow.
