Guided Tour from Nationalpark Hohe Tauern "Nature Watch from above"
The 22-meter-high tower, which towers above the treetops of the "Oberhauser Zirbenwald" (Swiss Pine Forest) and offers a fantastic view, is the destination of this guided hike. At the tower, there are spotting scopes from SWAROVSKI OPTIK, through which one can observe deer, chamois, and red deer as well as the birdlife in the wild together with the ranger. Additionally, the wildlife observation tower provides a unique perspective on the largest contiguous Swiss pine forest in the Eastern Alps. Dive into the secrets of the untouched primeval forest in the rear Defereggental valley.
Afterwards, we will head together to a rustic hut in the "Oberhauser Zirbenwald", where everyone can comfortably enjoy their own breakfast. Tea or coffee is available on-site. An extremely exciting morning ends with a cozy gathering at the hut.
