Concilium musicum Wien - classic concert

Classical, jazz, and pop on three wind instruments? That's exactly what the trio BLASBALG has been passionate about since 2013. This wonderful Styrian-Vorarlberg combination mixes poetry, singing, and acting with musical quotations from various genres. The special thing about the ensemble is the diversity of applications and effects. No instrument is less prominent than the others; each shines skillfully.

In their new program "Zeit," Klemens M. Kollmann (bassoon), Pia Neururer (clarinet), and Kathrin Ully (flute) offer a diverse repertoire of original compositions and poetry from their own pen. In melancholic, tragicomic, dynamic, and hopeful melodies and texts, they capture the past and present, but also dare to look into the (chamber music) future: electronically and synthetically amplified.
