Concert by Edna Million

In the flood of female voices that sound cheerfully trimmed and "girly," it is refreshing to hear something different. One of the deepest voices in Vienna belongs to a fabulous young songwriter whose name was not chosen by chance after a fictional character of Tom Waits: Edna Million. The musician impresses with the androgynous timbre of her cool voice and her unique singing style. Her musical idols are Patti Smith, Tom Waits, and PJ Harvey.
