The heart of the new lifts are a 3,8 km long cable car on the Kalser side and the two chair-lifts “Goldried 2” and “Cimaross” going up from Matrei. Luxury heated leather seats and weather protective hoods add comfort for the guests. 25 stops for refreshments, inns and restaurants will invite you to rest, once the project is finalised.
The 15 lifts transport together up to 30,600 visitors by hour up to snowy heights. About 390 hectares of slopes are at the skiers’ disposal. The starting points are at Matrei (920 m) and at Kals (1350 m); the top station “Cimaross” lies at about 2.600 m. From here you have a panoramic view of the Großglockner and the Großvenediger, and on a clear day, you can see a total of 63 mountains above 3.000 m.
