The extensive main square of Lienz is designated a pedestrian area between June and September and the flowers, palm trees, the coloured facades of the houses and the terraced cafés give a Mediterranean flair to this town of 13.000 inhabitants, where you can get almost everything you want.
Shops for international fashion, for traditional outfits, for watches, jewellery and shoes offer a great variety for the shopper. Delicatessen shops, wine bars and “Schnaps” bars offer locally sourced products.
