We have something extra special for our Osttirol friends, fans, and guests: the memory-function on our website.
Times change. That’s how it is. But luckily East Tyrol is a real constant. East Tyrol is appealing, interesting and exciting at any time of year. Why that is so can be easily explained – East Tyrol is just wonderfully variety-packed and versatile; happily it doesn’t just specialise in one season and in one activity. It is for this simple reason that the region provides such a varied array of opportunities. Take a foray through the seasons and opportunities available in East Tyrol.
In Spring you watch as the wonderful natural surroundings blossom and awaken. And set out on your first tentative hikes in the course of the spring. At the very start of spring you can still look forward to some ‘firn skiing’, since East Tyrol has plenty of snow and has snow right through to those sunny days in March and April.
In Summer we don’t have to say a lot about everything that might feature on your activity plan – there is cycling, hiking, golf, fishing and much more. Unfortunately we just couldn’t write about it all here. You will just have to see the place for yourself to believe it.
Autumn is as appealing as summer, only that the scenery starts to change colour slowly, as if by magic and winter wonderfully starts to set in. Then Winter really gets going - skiing, ski tours, cross-country skiing, tobogganing. And that’s just the start …
Another constant in East Tyrol – all this is held together by flavours, since East Tyrol is also worth visiting for its cuisine. Garnished with the characteristic, well-known East Tyrol friendliness and hospitality, your holiday in East Tyrol will be an all-round joy …
