The market-town of Sillian 1103 m is the centre of  the East Tyrolean “Hochpustertal”.

It lies between the famous South Tyrolean Dolomites and the Lienzer Dolomites. It is gate to the Tyrolean “Hochpustertal”.
Sillian has a population of 2.082 and is the largest place between Lienz and Bruneck. There are 1.200 guest beds of all categories available.
Unique are also the villages Heinfels, Strassen, Abfaltersbach and Anras.
